Following his military service, James hung up his uniform and sought a new challenge that would allow him to stay connected to a life of service. Farming and being a chef proved to be the perfect symbiotic fit, offering a chance to work outdoors, contribute to the local food system, and heal through the therapeutic rhythms of nature.
