James and Melinda are the heart behind Electric Acres Farm. James, a Coffee County native raised in agriculture, farming has always felt like home. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, Tennessee Squire, and dedicated steward of the land, he brings discipline, resilience, and pride to every day on the farm. Melinda, who grew up locally in Robertson County, brings warmth, wisdom, and a deeply caring spirit. With a master’s degree in education, a talent for critical thinking, and a creative eye as an avid seamstress, she helps shape the farm with both heart and intention.

Together, they are University of Tennessee Master Small Ruminant Producers, with additional concentrations in poultry production and pasture management. Their shared mission is simple: care for the land, raise quality products, and serve their community with honesty, kindness, and hard work.
